Are We Independent??

Hey Nation. Hey Comrades. Hey Brothers and Very Few Sisters(Sorry. I ought to be safe). Hey Friends,

You know what! We gonna celebrate our 65th Independence Day in another fortnight. Well. What a Pride it is! What a richness it ought to be! What a feeling it raises in every nerve of every one of Us! Divine.
Undoubtedly, We are INDEPENDENT. Yup! We get up early in the morning. Oh! May be late too. Use our desired brand toothpaste, soap, whatsoever. Dress up in Formals or Casuals or Western Outfits or sometimes even rags too. Why not? Sometime we go back to bed too. Who cares? Well, then we ride our branded Car, Scooters, Motor Bikes, Cycles or atleast manage to get a Bus ticket or a Railway pass. Occasionally we travel without a ticket too. Again, who cares? It's a Heroic deed right? Seat ourselves in a well-comforted Chair in Schools, Colleges or Offices. Eat a costly Lunch, mostly Pizzas and Burgers. Buy a movie ticket for the eve, with friends or relationship partners. Spend a lump'sum of money at some renowned Coffee Shop or some Restaurant with all 7 color lights. Sometimes even 8th and 9th colors can be seen. Get back home. And go to bed. ---- This makes us independent right?? We have sufficient money, time to whine, leisure to have fun. What more someone would need?

We are ready to claim our FUNDAMENTAL RIGHTS prescribed in our law. But not ready to do the FUNDAMENTAL DUTIES printed below the above same. We do not pay the taxes at time. We do not pay correct taxes. We do not care about others. We do not think as a group. We do not voluntarily get in and amend the blunders that we ourselves created. And atlast we'll call ourselves as INDEPENDENT. It's a Joke.

INDIA is One Nation. For you, rather we to get up as per our wish in the morning, hundred thousands of men at the border should not sleep at all. Did anyone think that way? Not at all. Thinking all those is a third-rated crime. Right? We'll all complain about the inefficiency of the government, forgetting the fact that that is some down to earth party that's ruling and we were the ones who voted and gave them the power. Yeah we have sense. We change the government in the next elections. But what's the point? Both the politicians and people not gonna change. Only the government's gonna change every five years. Okay! I agree. No politician is good. The word Politician is gonna be given an additional meaning "Corrupted" in the forthcoming dictionaries. But then, what's the solution? Common man getting into politics? Students discussing politics. Oh No! Never speak about that. It's a sin in this nation. Getting scholarships and being selected in recently evolved Campus Interviews is the birth duty of a youth. Else, he'll not be praised. He'll not be treated good. He'll not get a bride too. Sick!

We raise voices in pride that we are independent. But, are we really?? Have we ever thought about that?? No. Not at all. We skipped that flashing thought, when Katrina showed up in that some company hair remover ad. Because that is more important right? Well. Keep it that way. But atleast realize that she is paid in millions for removing her body hair. But we need to pay our own bill, even for trimming our mustache. The reality is real. What carries you away is just illusion and fun. But we are not ready to think about that.

Even now, in many villages, children know Independence Day is a just another day, in which headmaster/headmistress gives away those orange color half a penny chocolates and they never fail to be present there only to get the chocolates. Many don't even know "Vande Mataram" and "Jana Gana Mana". It's not their fault. It's the nation's fault. Many scholars are always obsolete. They gain fame by involving themselves in uninvited matters. For example, A R Rahman's composition of modern National Anthem. They said it wasn't sung in the time limit of 51~52 seconds. Don't they have any brain or heart? Who the crap gonna note or calculate the timing, when singing the pride of the nation? Isn't it illogical?

Fine. The most of Us travel in trains and buses everyday. How many times we've been stopped in traffic, only because some damn politician crosses that road in another 1 or 2 hours? How much time have we wasted for that in lifetime? Who's gonna pay us for all that hours, if we have worked in all of them? You know what! This is the only place where the so-called Servants of the Public gets the highest privilege for being corrupted. In no land or time in history, servants enjoyed their Life more than the masters. Here, only 4 months before elections, we'll hear the words "You are the masters. We are here to serve You". At once after the election result dates, everything is turned upside down. Now you have to serve them. Even if you aren't ready, they'll take whatever they want for themselves. Sometimes, lakhs of crores too.

Anyways, who's gonna care? Our bank balance should be increased every week. Our enjoyments shouldn't have any damage. We will never stand against anyone in Life. We don't have backbones. We are just spectators and critics of what is happening. We are not ready to step in to stand against any sort of legal and moral breach in the society.
British ruled us for more than 340 years. That is 3 and half centuries or 34 decades. We've lost treasures, money, wealth, resources, sometimes Life too. But we got Railways, Airways, Bridges, Education, Science, Cricket, after all UNITY. But these Indian politicians have not even crossed a century of ruling. But we've got Unemployment, Sanitation problems, Corruption, Rowdism, Terrorism and after all we LOST the Unity.

I agree. India has developed. To a very large extent. Else otherwise, I would not have got an opportunity to write this even. But still, those developments are because of very few people who dreamed of a better India and worked for that. They are Legends. Just realize, a very few was able to bring about this change. Then, what if the ONE BILLION brains work? Where will we be standing right now? Planet Pluto would have been a place for Summer Vacation, then. Andromeda Galaxy would have been a Honeymoon spot sometime. Because remember, Indians are the wisest persons on earth. We've proved that in most of the occasions. We were brave too. Even now. But we don't stand up against the bad cause that easily. Come out of that.

The time is not far, that we become a Supreme Power. The time has come. We are now, One Billion efficient resource factories. Live Up to your dreams. Don't restrict yourselves to small dreams. Try to dream for your, rather our nation too. We are not far behind. We never want to rule the world. At the same time, we should let no others to do so. Fight against every single deteriorating factor. Raise Up to show we are not short of anything. We have 2 billion shoulders to dwell in. We have 2 billion hands to give you one, in need. Live for those one billion hearts. We got to show the world we are a group of the best creations of nature. We got to tell them we are nowhere behind anyone. Scream Big that WE ARE COMING.
